Но решение проблемы неожиданно нашлось.В подразделении Управления имеется небольшой волонтёрский отряд по розыску пропавших людей, куда входит командир Павел, специалист по коммуникациям Катерина и врач с позывным Узи. Там освободилось место полицейского куратора, поэтому Зорину предлагают перейти туда. Но ему не хочется что-то менять. Он готов дослужиться до пенсии на своем родном месте и тогда уже уйти на покой. Но когда начальница ему сообщает, что в отряде служит родный сын героя Паша, то Зорин сразу соглашается. Он давно не видел и не общался с сыном, а так у него появится возможность найти с ним, наконец, точки соприкосновения.Однако появление отца в отряде не обрадовало Павла. Ему не хотелось, чтобы теперь все его действия оказывались под жестким контролем Зорина. Но со временем сын и отец нашли общий язык, до тех пор пока между ними не появилась женщина.
